1.3 Device and Technical Information

  • Device information: Device type, operating system version
  • Network status: Internet connectivity status (to enable offline mode)
  • App diagnostics: Crash reports and error logs to improve app stability

1.4 Guest Mode Data

When using Guest Mode (without creating an account):

  • Progress is stored locally on your device only
  • No personal information is collected or transmitted
  • Data can be migrated to a full account if you choose to sign up later

  • Local storage: Cached data for offline access is stored on your device using AsyncStorage

  • All data transmission is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS
  • Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text
  • Firebase security rules restrict unauthorized access
  • Regular security audits and updates

However, please note that no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We do NOT sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Firebase (Google): For authentication, database, and cloud storage services
  • Google Mobile Ads: For displaying advertisements (non-personalized for children)

4.4 Public Leaderboards

Display names and performance statistics may be visible to other users on public leaderboards. No other personal information is shared publicly.

Learnardo is designed for children ages 2 to 14. We are committed to protecting children’s privacy:

  • We collect only the minimum information necessary to provide the service
  • Parental consent is required for children under 13 to create accounts
  • Advertisements shown to children are non-personalized and kid-friendly
  • We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without parental consent
  • Guest mode allows children to use the app without providing any personal information

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us. Upon request, we will delete your information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

6.3 Guest Mode

You can use the App in Guest Mode without creating an account. Guest data is stored only on your local device and can be deleted by clearing the app’s data.

6.4 Opt-Out of Data Collection

If you do not want us to collect usage data, you can use Guest Mode or delete your account.

8. Data Retention

  • Diagnostic data: Retained for up to 90 days for troubleshooting purposes

After account deletion, we may retain some information in anonymized or aggregated form for analytical purposes.

9. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and stored on servers located outside your country of residence. By using Learnardo, you consent to the transfer of information to countries outside of your country of residence, which may have different data protection rules.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. We will notify you of any material changes by:

  • Posting the new Privacy Policy in the App
  • Updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this policy
